This sub-sub-series contains media monitoring reports (i.e. transcriptions of scrums, press briefings and, more rarely, press conferences and interviews covered by MH Media Monitoring Limited). To a lesser degree, it contains press reviews conducted by ministerial information services (Infomedia Services). It also contains some of Prime Minister Chrétien's speaking notes.

More specifically, the sub-sub-series concerns interviews by Prime Minister Chrétien and members of his Cabinet on various domestic and international topics in the news, and on press reviews concerning the media impact of the Chrétien government's message and decisions (both in the capital and in Canada's major regions) for 2000-2001. This compilation of records is thus a comprehensive and organized compendium of the speeches, interviews and "scrums" of Prime Minister Chrétien and members of his Cabinet.

First it contains media monitoring reports (transcripts) from 1992 to 1997, followed by press reviews of newspapers in the National Capital Region and metropolitan Montreal (2000), followed by regional press reviews (2000-2001). Files are arranged chronologically in each category, as per the original classification.
