This sub-sub-series contains working papers created mostly by Kerry Edmonds, Communication Coordinator in the PMO Communications Unit under Prime Minister Chrétien.

The sub-sub-series contains documents on media planning, usually for the Prime Minister's official trips (i.e. media accreditation requests; media programmes, schedules and itineraries; cost assessments; invoices; correspondence; memos, etc.). To a lesser degree it also contains news releases, notices addressed to PMO staff, promotional material, and various reference documents and working papers, often annotated.

This records of this sub-sub-series shed some light on the logistics involved in media coverage for the Prime Minister's official trips, especially the financial component (budgets, cost estimates and allocation, invoicing, etc.). They also provide insight into other tasks of the PMO Communication Coordinator: preparing and, chiefly, managing the production and use of promotional material (Christmas cards, Prime Minister's Forum, televised messages, etc.), preparing tools to aid the Prime Minister in House of Commons debates (information summaries, keywords, reminders, etc.), developing the Prime Minister's Web site, etc.
