Inside cover, left: FAMOUS CANADIAN INNS / Gordon Fairbairn, the Ottawa artist, has caught the warm / spirit of Christmas in his interpretation of the old hostelry built / at Kentville, Nova Scotia, in 1830 as headquarters for the stage / coach run between Kentville and Annapolis. Famous for its / cheerful hospitality among the travellers through the beautiful Annapolis Valley, the Stage Coach Inn was the stopping place / in 1887 of the young Sailor Prince who was later to become / King George V, while he enjoyed a few days shooting. The / original building still stands today. / The Third of a Series.
