Christmas card featuring a colour reproduction on the cover from a print depicting the seige of the fortress at Louisbourg (on Cape Breton Island) in New France in 1745. There is a large ship on the right bearing a flag, and numerous smaller boats filled with soldiers off the shore of the island.
