Collection search - Customs and excise books used in the Northwest Territories and the Yukon [textual record]

This accession consists of various books used by Canada Customs and Excise in the Northwest Territories and the Yukon for such ports as Forty Mile, White Pass, Skagway, Whitehorse and Dawson. The accession contains the folllowing:
1. A book on steamboats and railway (1906-1944)
2. A book on Port of diversion - record of abstract manifests (1916-1951)
3. A register for the port of Dawson on baggage advice and notes forwarded (1920-1943)
4. A register of unclaimed goods (1916-1937)
5. A report on the progress of Department's regionalization as of June 30, 1968 for the Department of National Revenue, Customs and Excise.

These records were transferred to Library and Archives Canada from the Canadian Border Service Agency.
