Approx. 34 photographic reproductions of illustrations from Jacques Viger's "Panorama de Montreal" album. Viger collected materials pertaining to Canadian history, and produced the multi-volume work entitled "La Saberdache". Images are predominantly architectural views of Montreal (especially churches), and the majority are by the English painter, John Poad Drake. The envelope of reproductions is accompanied by a typed index to the images (4 pages), which notes that no. 31 (C-17386) is by the artist Berczy, the view of Ticonderoga is by Mme. Lupton, and no. 32 is by Mr. Duncan.
