Groups include knights dressed in armour bearing flags, habitants in costume with snowshoes, Indians and a teepee, "medical students", "high school", and floats in the form of a ship and a large shoe.
On the verso (p. 11), there is a carnival programme as well as bust portraits of numerous officials, including Lord Stanley, Governor General, and J.J.C. Abbott, Mayor of Montreal.
On the verso (p. 10), there is an image entitled "Storming of the Castle" by F. Houghton, showing the Ice Castle of Montreal.
