This series consists of 58 black and white and colour photographs by Vincenzo Pietropaolo documenting the Italian Canadian community in Toronto. The photographs come from three different acquisitions: one documenting the annual Good Friday procession in Toronto in 1980 and 1982, and two documenting various aspects of the everyday lives of Italian-Canadians in the city. The latter two include photographs of Italian-Canadians at work in a textile factory and bakery, and on construction sites, on picket lines, at english classes, at home or at an annual picnic on Toronto Island, performing in a play, and practicing their religion, between 1970 and 1980. The colour photographs are from the Good Friday Procession project.

Some of these photographs have been published in the book, Not Paved with Gold (Between The Lines, Toronto: 2006).
