Onoszko, Alexander R., 1910-1994 : Alexander R. Onoszko (1910-1994), squadron leader R.A.F. (Polish Wing), born in Lublin, Poland; became pioneer RWD Pilot and in 1930s Captain of Lot Airlines; after the war, British Airways Captain and later British Airways Chief Operations Officer in Argentina; arrived in Canada in 1954; flew aerial photogrammometric surveys over Canada, Africa, Malaysia and Peru (CIDA).
