General note:

LAC's collections include another example of this medal, in the Mario Bernardi fonds (R4633). The example in the Bernardi fonds bears the edge inscription: "BRONZE (C) ... 80". No edge inscription on Oscar Peterson's example of this medal is visible since the medal is housed in an encasement.
