Sub-series consists of 65 files of manuscripts, ephemera, and memorabilia relating to Canadian prime ministers and, in a few instances, to their wives or other family members. Correspondence and other manuscripts are filed separately from ephemera and memorabilia. Since Canadian prime ministers were the primary focus of Morris Norman's collecting activities, this sub-series represents nearly sixty per cent of the Textual Records Series. Includes a file of Wilfrid Laurier correspondence (Volume 1487, File 7) and two files of John A. Macdonald correspondence and manuscripts (Volume 1487, File 9 and Volume 1491, File 5), all of which contain several interesting letters.

Also includes MacKenzie King's correspondence (Volume 1486, Files 16-19) with the Canadian editor and writer Newton McTavish B and with McTavish's wife and daughter. These files contain drafts of McTavish's articles on the King family and his draft of a proposed letter from King to the Canadian writer Mazo de la Roche, congratulating her on the publication of Jalna. This correspondence documents King's abiding interest in art and literature, as well as his interest in the promotion of Canadian letters.

Among the other notable documents are the following: a file of correspondence (Volume 1488, File 13) relating to John Thompson's involvement with real-estate investments in Halifax; a very important letter (Volume 1491, File 13) from Queen Victoria to the Governor General of Canada, Lord Aberdeen, regarding the death of John Thompson; the diary (Vol. 1488, File 19) of Marie Tupper, Charles Tupper's granddaughter, documenting a trip that she made to Europe with her grandparents in 1892; and an anti-Tupper broadside (Vol. 1491, File 15) written by Joseph Howe, with annotations by Howe.
