Series consists of 10 undated and unsigned architectural drawings of British farm and residential buildings. The majority of the drawings are on paper bearing an 1810 watermark. The entire set is bound in paper covers bearing the identifying markings. "Check Book Poll from Township of Montague, Canada 1854" and "Plans - Montague 1857" which do not seem to relate to the contents .

Custodial history:

The drawings were donated by Mr. E.A. Gardner. Chief Architect for the Department of Public Works, 1952-63 on October 3, 1985. He received the drawings from Miss Evelyn Thompson of Perth. Ontario many years ago who obtained them from her great-uncle, Sgt. Thompson, a member of the British Royal Engineers and later a printer in Perth.
