Suggestion that a photo miniature was once attached to the original work is supported by photo-copies found in Canada Post fonds files.

Physical description note:

Design image (75.0 x 89.0 mm) depicts 3 children singing and holding an open Christmas Carol book with a snow-laden tree to the left and the Peace Tower of the Ottawa Parliament Buildings, in the background ; design image is framed by a faux-perforated border created by scalloped grey gouache border (?) ; glue residue at l.r. indicates small possibly photo miniature was once attached to work ; Typography : 5 cents.
