The Academic Career Series consists of documents related to his activities as Professor of Political Science at University of Toronto and as Senior Research Fellow, notably as President of the Task Force on the Federal Financing of Post Secondary Education and Research in Canada (1984-1985) and President of the Task Force on University Education in Saskatchewan (1992-1993). Albert W. Johnson was involved in different committees and advisor on many questions related to social welfare, economy and governance. Among other subjects documented in this series are the National Advisory Committee on Education Statistics, the Standing Committee on Communication and Culture, The Chrétien Committee on Social Policy and Auditor General's reports. This series contains also course and lecture material prepared by Johnson.
