This accession consists of 11,640 architectural drawings which pertain to 359 projects produced by the Montreal architectural firm, founded by H. L. Fetherstonhaugh jn 1922 and presently owned by Michael Ellwood. Residential projects, primarily for the wealthy anglophone community in Montreal constitute a large portion of this collection. Other projects deal with apartment buildings; churches, notably St. Andrews' and St. Paul's in Montreal; educational buildings, notably Bishops' college, McGill University and Memorial University of Newfoundland, as well as schools in Quebec amd Newfoundland; and general office buildings, notably the Aluminum Company of Canada.
