Design may once have been attached to main support, now loose ; watercolour in purple with reproduction (obverse and reverse) of Stephen Leacock medal ; Typeset caption found with the work ; Canadian Bank Note Co. Label laid down to verso of main support ; Typography : 6 cents.

Note on the state of conservation:

Design is loose from support ; typeset caption is detached from support ; glue residue visible at recto b. above photo miniature.
