Oral history interview with Olive Dickason, Edmonton elder and Professor of Native History at the University of Alberta, at her home in Edmonton, Alberta. Subjects discussed include history as her choice of study, her passion for history, Native peoples tolerance of other cultures, intolerance of Native peoples by other cultures, Native people as the "outsider", the process of assimilation, the history of transforming Native people into "Canadians", suppression of Native traditions, memories of her mother, her experiences as an author writing history, and her acceptance back into the family of Native community life. Interview with Dickason follows with an interview/discussion between Dickason and Dr. Lewis Millones, professor from Peru, on the subject of native interest in history, writing and rewriting history, and the Inca in Peruvian history
