TRAILER PARK BOYS is an edgy, street-level Canadian television comedy/drama series shot in a faux-documentary style. It centres around Ricky, Julian and Bubbles, three adults with boys' minds whose lives were shaped by their experiences growing up in the Sunnyvale Trailer Park: stealing, fighting, smoking, scamming, getting drunk and listening to Van Halen. They had their share of trouble with the law and most of their adult lives have been spent behind bars of one kind or another. It is not that the boys cannot differentiate right from wrong, it is just that right rarely presents itself. In this episode, Julian's got a plan. He takes the shitmobile and Ricky's gun and takes off, without letting the boys know where he is going. While Bubbles cleans the empty liquor bottles out of his shed, Julian tells Sarah he wants Cory and Trevor to work for him. Sarah allows this under one condition - Julian has to treat them nicely. Meanwhile, Ricky is irritated about the fact that J-Roc took the money he made harvesting weed from Cory and Trevor as a record-producing fee. Ricky confiscates J-Roc's stereo equipment as payback. He also takes turntables, microphones, and even the clothes dryer. Ricky then goes to Lucy's place to give his daughter Trinity the equipment as a present. Ricky finds Lucy incredibly hot, but cannot figure out why. In a direct pseudo-documentary mode of address, Bubbles explains to viewers that Cory and Trevor gave Lucy some of their drug money which she used to enhance her breasts. Ricky has an epiphany - he realizes that his family matters to him, and he wants to get back together with Lucy. He figures that if he can get some hash from Terry and Dennis and sell it, he can make enough dough to pull himself together and Lucy will want him back. Realizing that Ricky is on course for trouble, Bubbles hops on his go-kart and follows him. <23mn 5s>
