At an early age, Don, a Cree from Alexander First Nation in Alberta, was ordered to leave by his elders - his destructive way of life was a bit too overwhelming for the community. When Don, now a social outcast, plunged deep into the abyss of alcoholism and drug addiction, hitting the rock bottom, he made a resolution to turn his life around. Today, he voyages throughout North America teaching, counselling and healing through the power of laughter. His "live" routine blends his real-life experiences with the ironic humour that characterizes First Nations culture. This is a story of a man whose courage and self-determination had a far-reaching impact and whose openness with his challenges made way for healing within communities. <47mn 50s>Language:English / Cree with English subtitlesNotes:Detailed holdings information: -
