THE UNCLES is a story about a young restaurant manager, John Toma, who juggles his concerns for his mentally ill sister, his lazy brother and his own illicit love affair. John's girlfriend, Rochelle, is an attractive graduate student, who plans to leave her spouse and start a family with John. His sister Celia abducts babies off the street and brings them home. John's brother, Marco, is a slacker university student looking for a reason to drop out. Tired of saving Celia from being arrested, it's becoming increasingly difficult for John to deflect her growing reputation as a crazy woman and a kidnapper. As John contemplates the decision about his girlfriend and their future together, he and Marco come up with a drastic solution to the problem of Celia - they decide to arrange their sister to get pregnant. But their convoluted scheming creates some rather unanticipated results. <1h 34mn>
