Description:

TIPI TALES uses songs and short vignettes to teach the seven sacred laws of Aboriginal spiritual beliefs that make the spirit strong. Through puppetry the series depicts the lives of cousins Sam, Junior, Russell and Elizabeth as they learn the tools of life from the forest, forest animals and their great-grandparents. The forest animals that the cousins encounter embody the seven ancient aboriginal laws: Eagle embodies love; Buffalo embodies respect; Bear embodies courage; Sabe (Bigfoot) embodies honesty; Beaver embodies wisdom; Wolf embodies humility; and Turtle embodies truth. In LITTLE GIRL LOST, Sam gets lost, because she decides she doesn't have to listen to Russell who tells her she cannot play "hide and seek" in the big forest. Wolf teaches Sam the importance of listening to others and also shows her what to do when you get lost. <14mn 20s>
