This map was originally drawn by Jan Jansson and subsequently was published by many publishers between 1650 and 1745. Ogilby changed the illustrations and size from the original version.
From Ogilby's "America: being the latest and most accurate description of the new world ...", 1671 which was the english edition of Arnoldus Montanus's Nieuwe en Onbeckende Weereld: of beschryving van America. According to Burden Ogilby changed many of the illustrations and was able to publish his edition in same year 1671.Custodial history:Part of the Alexander E.
