Shows the troops drawn up on the Plains of Abraham. This was likely a 'mock battle' for the entertainment of Prince William Henry. The British and French troop movements are shown by dotted lines and colour coding. A small fold-in addition to the map shows the encampment of the 26th Reg. The one page narrative indicates the drawing was done by an unnamed subaltern who was present. He showed it to a friend who wrote an amusing Pasquinade (lampoon) on the Review. This may well be the only sketch of this event to have survived.

Other special events took place on the occasion of the visit of Prince William Henry, like the play "She Stoops to Conquer" by the Allen's Company of Comedians in October 1787.
