Series consists of 13 technical drawings of the ferry "William Carson". This vessel was built to provide a year-round ferry service between Port-aux-Basque, Nfld. and Sydney, N.S. Work on the Port-aux-Basque harbour delayed this service, however, and the ship was used as a freighter for several years after its launching.
