This series mostly consists of documents created during teaching and administrative career of Roméo LeBlanc at various educational institutions: the New Brunswick Teachers' College - from June 1955 to May 1959 (as a teacher of French literature); Moncton University (N.B.) - between August 1971 and May 1972 (as an Assistant to the President of the university and as a Director of Public Relations); Carleton University (Ottawa) - from 1986 to 1987 and Concordia University (Montreal) - from 1985 to 1987 (as a visiting professor). Most files reflect Roméo LeBlanc's teaching activities within the Carleton and Concordia universities. At Carleton University, Roméo LeBlanc was associated with the Institute of Canadian Studies and School of Public Administration, where he held two seminars, and at Concordia University, he taught Canadian Studies course.
Textual records in the series consist of course outlines, reading materials, students' essays, reports, and correspondence. These files contain documents written by Roméo LeBlanc (course outlines, reviews of students' essays); recommended by him (course readings and bibliography); obtained from other professors and students' essays. Most students' essays are accompanied by detailed critical review written by Mr. LeBlanc. The reading materials usually have handwritten notes by Roméo LeBlanc. Many of these notes are questions which can be used as starting points for class discussions, or as topics for individual presentations and students essays. Some files consist of students reports and lists of the students attending his seminars and classes. Correspondence consists of letters between Roméo LeBlanc and university officials regarding his teaching engagements. There are also in this series numerous handwritten notes for class preparation and his presentations at McGill and Mount Allison universities, as well as at the Administrators' Colloquium (Ottawa).
