Sub-series: Yukon Placer Guidelines Review Committee. Anderson was a Panel member of this committee, having been appointed by John Munro, the Minister for Indian and Northern Affairs, in 1983. The committee was charged with holding public hearings on the first ever proposed guidelines for regulating Placer Mining in the Yukon.

The records consist of submissions to the committee and assessments of the proposed guidelines. Boxes 14 and 24 consist of copies of the hearings. The final report was written by the Chairman and is not available here. However, Anderson submitted an extensive paper giving his opinion, and his fellow panelist, Jack Cable submitted a much shorter report.
