This designation was accorded this bloc by staffers in Whelan's office. Presumably it suggests material that was never worked into the index card-based correspondence control system in the Minister's office. There are occasional other document types in this sub-series, but it is comprised largely of correspondence.
It is a catch-all bloc. Volumes 755 to 759 comprise correspondence from Whelan's early House service, as an MP. The correspondence is extremely varied, from Service Clubs to Communism to Trans-Canada Pipeline, and much of it is with individuals.
The remaining volumes cover Whelan's two tenures of the Agricultural Ministry. Again, the correspondence is exceedingly varied, from personal notes to constituents, to F.C.C. and various departmental-managed national marketing boards, to speeches, to legal issues, to correspondence with ministers, to travel, and so on.
