General note:

This accession consists of the daily intelligence summaries produced by First Canadian Army from D-day (6 June 1944) until 30 November 1944. The summaries detail German forces encountered by First Canadian Army and military, political, and technical intelligence gained from prisoners of wars and from French, Belgian, and Dutch citizens.

Custodial history:

These records were copied and preserved by the Army Historical Section and became part of the holdings of the Directorate of History document collection when the service historical sections were unified.
