Interview with Nick Prouse, biologist with the Marine Environmental Sciences Division of Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Prouse discusses dog welk snails; the use of Tributyltin (TBT), a tin-based paint used to prevent organisms from clinging to ship hulls; and "imposex", the imposition of male sexual characteristics on females, an affect of TBT contamination of dog welk snails. <17mn>
