The paper finding aid has the date as 1951, however, all 4 neg sleeves indicate the date as November 1954. Walter Curtin did not arrive in Canada until 1952. Hans Fread was a chef and restauranteur who worked in Toronto from the ca.1940s until as least the mid 1960s. Also, the assignment on the paper finding aid is 511 while the neg sleeves list 510 - 1 to 510 - 4 as the assignment numbers. Since the first two numbers denote the year of creation this file has been re-numbered to 5419-3.
