This sub-series contains correspondence files, compiled by the Ontario regional desk, concerning: the PMO's relations with agencies, businesses, associations and universities that are from or have a connection with Ontario, the PMO's relations with the government of Ontario; Ontario-related topics in the news; and various Ontario events attended by the Prime Minister. The sub-series thus sheds light on major issues and events in Ontario between 1995 and 2002 (most of them between 1998 and 2002).

The sub-series consists mainly of correspondence, but also includes press clippings, working papers, memos, briefing notes, itineraries, reports by government agencies or private businesses, invitations, and a wide range of reference materials.
