The files of this sub-sub series are classified alphabetically, by file title.

We should note that the original order of the records was preserved. The Social Development Advisor in question compiled general subject files that overlapped a number of more specific subjects. It was hard for the archivist to extricate these large sets, since the records were not clearly separated from each other. It would have been risky to reclassify files by specific topic, as it would have compromised the original order and possibly obscured the context in which the files were created. The archivist thus felt it prudent to preserve the original sets.
