Series contains typescripts with handwritten revisions of Davies lectures and speeches as well as reviews and articles written by Davies. Speeches and lectures (including those given at Stratford) are titled: "Murmurs From an Ivory Tower", "Parsons in Literature", "La Traviata", "Who Was William Shakespeare?", a speech for Prize Day (Upper Canada College), "George Munro Grant","Mimesis at Massey", "Animal U.", "Moliere", "Lear" ,"A Country Wife", "Shakespeare's Great History Cycle", "Henry IV" "Henry IV", "The Cherry Orchard", "Richard III", "The Merry Wives of Windsor", "The Inspector General", "Antony and Cleopatra" and a speech for Dean Bladen's Dinner.

Includes a book review of "The Stone Angel" by Margaret Laurence, a review for The Quarterly and a review for New York Times. Also contains articles "Education" (for Atlantic Monthly), "The Stratford Festival" for Saturday Night, and several articles titled "A College Ghost Story".
