The series comprises the records kept by Judy Donnelly, Project Manager, at the University of Toronto, including some administrative records, correspondence, publishing, financial, legal, and personnel files. Administrative documents created prior to August 2000, except those relating to the project's inception and grant application, became part of the project manager's administrative files and are found in this series. There are also files relating to the project advisory board and editorial committee, the Aid to Scholarly Publishing Programme, national book history projects outside Canada, and organizations such as SHARP and the BSC/SBC (vols. 54-55). The series also holds correspondence with editors, team members, and project listservs (vols. 55-56) and volume production files which document tracking and protocols (vol. 57). Financial files include annual financial statements and correspondence regarding sub-grants to projects sites (vol. 58), but detailed financial documents were instead retained by the Faculty of Information Studies, University of Toronto, as per SSHRCC regulations. Personnel files and legal documents, including author contracts and licensing agreements for images, are also found in this series (vols. 58-59).
