The series consists of editorial files of volume III, which covers the period from 1918 to 1980, and was edited by Carole Gerson and Jacques Michon. This series includes working documents and correspondence between the editors and co-general editors, Patricia Fleming and Yvan Lamonde, and author files with comments from the co-general editors. The series holds author files (vols. 41-43), English manuscripts and proofs (vols. 44-45), records of production of the English proofs, texts edited by English text editor, apparatus, and images (vol. 45). Researchers should also consult editorial files in the McGill University site sous-fonds, but the greatest share of the records relating to volume III are found in the Simon Fraser University site sous-fonds and the Université de Sherbrooke site sous-fonds, transferred after the publication of volume III.
