This series also includes freelance material that Frank Lennon completed before becoming a full-time in-house photographer for the Toronto Star. This includes several wedding and baby photography assignments.
This series does not contain Summit Series material, which was separated into a separate series.Additional information:General note:The photographic prints included many contact prints, which were found with the original assignnment envelopes, both of which can be found stored with the negatives when applicable. Envelopes may also included the original assignment sheet (when available), which recorded any salient details that Frank Lennon felt should be noted.
This series also contains photographs printed from Lennon's negatives, as well as a few other Toronto Star photographers and photos from the wire service. Many of the photographs are date stamped, but it has not been confirmed that these dates correspond to the actual date that the photographs were taken.Container note(s):45 : 2008 accrual
