1. Opening credits identify B.E. Norrish, M.S., as Superintendent, A.E. Reeves as the official photographer and Byron Harmon as the photographer. Bernard E. Norrish was superintendent of the Exhibits and Publicity Bureau of the Department of Trade and Commerce from 1917 until 1920, when he left the federal government to join Associated Screen News.~2. This film is listed as part of the SEEING CANADA series in the Department of Trade and Commerce annual report for the fiscal year ending 31 March 1924.~3. Produced during the fiscal year ending 31 March 1920, according to the Twenty-Eighth Annual Report of the Department of Trade and Commerce for the Fiscal Year Ended March 31, 1920, p. 18.~4. Listed as film #23, but without SEEING CANADA heading in List of Motion Pictures Produced by the Exhibits and Publicity Bureau, complete to March 1st, 1920, p. 5.~5. Listed as film number 5 in the Catalogue of Motion Pictures Produced By the Canadian Goverment Motion Picture Bureau, 1926.~6. The annual report for the fiscal year ending 31 March 1924 said that this film was available on 16mm for distribution to schools and other organizations.~7. The 1920 catalogue states that it was produced in cooperation with the Dominion Parks Branch of the Department of the Interior.~8. Crown material over 50 years - copyright expired.
