The film tells the history of the Providence Association, an organization for Catholic Ukrainians in the United States, which published "America", a newspaper for the Ukrainian-American community. The founding members and many members of the current organization are shown, in meetings, celebrations and working on the printing press. Among the events recorded are: a General Meeting of the Providence Association in New York; the Jubilee celebrations of the 20th Anniversary of the Existence of the Providence Association in America; Easter religious celebrations in New York; the 50th Anniversary of the first Ukrainian Catholic parish in America (Saint Vidbulosia Church) in Stanford, Connecticut; Jubilee concerts; a Ukrainian Catholic mass; the Catholic Bishops of the time; and a dedication ceremony for a new building in Pennsylvania (trans-literation: Marion Gaitz, Pa.).~The second reel (which was probably originally misplaced) shows a Basilian order monastery or orphanage. Seen is a large group of poorly dressed boys exercising and dancing outdoors supervised by monks. Mr. Avramenko is seen visiting a church press, guided by a priest. <50mn>
