Collection search - Proclamation of the Constitution Act, 1982

This original copy of the Proclamation of the Constitution Act, 1982 was a second version of the one signed by HM Queen Elizabeth II at the outdoor ceremony on Parliament Hill, 17 April 1982 (see RG 68 vol 886). Signed in the East Block soon after the outdoor ceremony, it was vandalized in 1983 and became informally known as the 'stained' version. A framed reproduction is available in vol. 3353.
