Inter-title: "Nestling deep in the pine-clad highlands of Ontario, seventy miles north of Belleville, lies picturesque Lake Weslemkoon." Along the lake, two anglers read a letter from a friend announcing his arrival to their camp. Two visitors arrive in a boat and the men gather to select an appropriate lure for bass fishing. Inter-title: "Off for the haunts of the wily Bronze Back!" various shots of the men casting and reeling in their catch. Inter-title: "With a swirl of spray, the finny scrapper stuck the fly, shaking his body like a hula-hula dancer!" One of the anglers holds up his catch. Inter-title: "And here is proof positive that small-mouthed bass abound in Lake Weslemkoon!" Two anglers hold up their catch. Back at camp they cook and eat the fish. Intertitle: "The gentle 'swish' of the enamelled line as the fly is cast over the limpid waters is sweet music to the angler." The men pour over their lures choosing their favourite flies. Inter-title: "Golfers are notorious for holding post-mortems - but did you ever 'listen-in' on the camp fire tales of fishermen?" Shots of the anglers around a large bonfire. <7mn 20s>
