The series consists of textual records, photographs, and sound recordings of CNWE's annual conferences, including the Women's Ordination Worldwide conference in 2005, which CNWE hosted in Ottawa. The annual conference generally includes the AGM, a program of speakers addressing the role of women in the Catholic Church and related issues, and social events. Some of the conference themes have included: "Church Women: Claiming Leadership"; "Weaving Wisdom"; "Marking our Path by Walking"; "Building Eucharistic Community"; and "Breaking Silence, Breaking Bread: Christ Calls Women to Lead", the theme of the 2005 conference. The conference records can include programs of speakers and events, promotional brochures, lists of participants, minutes of the conference committee, biographical information on speakers, documents relating to the planning and organization of the conference, and photographs. The photographs are primarily snapshots of speakers, participants, and social activities. Those for 1989-1990 and 1995 are arranged in photo albums. There are also photographs of the 2006 conference in digital form (jpg).

The most extensive documentation is found for the Second International Ecumencial Conference of Women's Ordination Worldwide, hosted by CNWE in Ottawa in July 2005. The series holds correspondence, financial papers, programs, texts of papers presented, minutes of the Ottawa Hosting Committee, sound recordings, and the conference web site. The web site, preserved in digital form, provides information about the conference, including the web pages showing the program, keynote speakers, workshops and panels, registration, marketplace, sponsors, venue and accommodations, and social events. In addition, there are three audio discs of highlights from the conference: the speeches of the keynote speakers, Elisabeth Schussler Fiorenza and Rosemary Radford Ruether, including question periods, the welcome to the conference by Marion Dewar, and the opening and closing liturgies.
