1947. The film begins with footage of the Toronto Santa Claus Parade. Shots of various decorated floats, and musical bands marching down Yonge Street. The parade shares the road with a TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) streetcar that passes in the background going in the opposite direction. Lynda Attridge stands next to a pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey game. Lynda and Jack Attridge opening gifts on Christmas morning. Two women in the kitchen preparing the Christmas meal. The family dinner table with everyone seated, and the carving of the turkey. Shots of the Xmas tree, the decorated fireplace, toys and gifts.
