The film begins with an elderly grandfather telling a bedtime story to his little grand-daughter that ends with "...and they lived happily in their castle ever after." As the old gentleman walks her to her bedroom he promises to tell her the story about the castle. After he puts her to bed, he ponders on how to recount the tale of his friend Sir Henry Pellatt. The film continues at the Casa Loma, where the tour guides welcome visitors from all over North America. The film follows a group of tourists as they tour through the castle and along the way the film highlights the many unique facets of Casa Loma; the library, ceilings, wood carvings on the walls, the wide variety of floors, bronze doors, the conservatory and glass dome, and a look at the main hallway, an exact replica of Peacock Alley in Windsor castle. Some of the unique aspects of the castle are visited, such as the elevator, and a secret panel in the wall, that leads to an upstairs suite that overlooks the skyline of Toronto. The intricate marble floors and patterns in the marble walls were specially selected to represent the waves of the Atlantic on one side, and on the opposite wall, the Rocky Mountains. The exterior of the castle is profiled; from the turrets and towers, to the exterior architecture and tiles on the rooftops. Some of the Kiwanis social activities held at the castle are profiled, like some of the dances that are held in the castles library. There is a shot of a big band playing with the name Art Hallman Band seen on the front bass drum. Shots of people dancing and sipping ginger ale from bottles. The film examines the involvement of the Kiwanis Club of West Toronto and the various social activities that are held at the castle; the summer garden parties, and sporting events such as boxing and wrestling. The film looks at some of the many activities and social services that are a result of the revenue generated from the Casa Loma. One of the activities spotlighted is a boys camp, with free medical checkups, meals, sports activities, and a wood shop. The film looks at the Kiwanis sponsored High Park Treasure Hunt that involve puppet shows, various family games, and a plane that flies overhead dropping tokens that the children below gather in exchange for a free gift. The film ends with a look at the many various social services provided by the Kiwanis Club, from delivering bottles of milk to underprivileged families, to the clubs involvement in aiding local agriculture, and a sequence on how the Toronto transit system is sponsored by Kiwanis in aiding the handicapped with specially modified buses.
