ISLAND VETS is a program which looks at the day to day operations of Prince Edward Island's Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. The daily routine for interns, students and doctors is unpredictable at the world renowned facility as their patient load can vary from an ailing llama to a dog which has been hit by a car.~In this episode the program focuses on several interns at the college as they take the final steps towards starting their own veterinary practices or becoming specialized doctors. <23mn 4s>
