Sub-sub-series consists of a 9" x 14", 2 post ledger containing records of: Horses on strength at Fort Walsh at various times; Horses transferred from Fort Walsh to the breeding station at Pakenham, Ontario; Brood mares breeding records indicating the date of bred, stallion, foal; List of foals (1953 to 1973 inclusive) indicating the date foaled, RegNo, name, sex, sire, dam. This ledger also contains information regarding the date the horses were born (some as far back as the 1920's), how and from whom they were obtained, physical description and temperament, disposition. A review of this material indicates that the record is not complete.
