Series consists of files created or compiled by G.H.D. (George) Bedell in his capacity as District Forest Officer with the Ontario Research Unit of the Canadian Forestry Service. The files contain Bedell's notes from 1946 to 1963 documenting his activities with the CFS; various internal reports on forestry production; yields, sites, early forestry surveys and measurement techniques; and a letter from Si Seely, Chief of Inventory, CFS, on Seely's contribution to air photo measurements during the Second World War.
