In this episode of the Canadian spy drama, COVER ME, the joint task force on security is concerned about the presence in Canada of the philanthropist Said, and the Americans take over control of the partnership of Pascal Laurier and Andrew Chase. Laurier wants to put herself close to Said with the use of her good looks and French-Canadian charm. Chase is concerned about the risk to both the operation and his partner. Laurier is fixed with a bug, but dumps it on a waiter's tray when Said becomes suspicious. Chase and Laurier capture a key player in the mystery, someone called Primikov who they hope to link to the Russian, Pechorin, at the heart of the conspiracy. Laurier continues her efforts with Said, but things become dangerous as Primikov's disappearance raises questions about her identity. Pechorin encounters her in the lobby of the hotel and invites her to his room. He tries to use her as pawn to kill Andrew. Primikov kills himself in custody, and Pascal and Andrew use the body to trick Pechorin into believing he has killed Andrew. During her narrow escape from Pechorin Laurier sees the mysterious blue eyed figure again. <45mn 37s>
