Records in this sub-series concern the Superintendent of Insurance's participation in the preparation process of Bill V3. This bill dealt with investment trusts and was presented to the Senate in April of 1929 by Senator Raoul Dandurand. Due to a recommendation from the Joint Standing Committee on Banking and Trade, the bill was withdrawn in June of 1929. The sub-series contains correspondence, press clippings, documentation and drafts of the proposed bill.
