Series contains records relating to the lives and marriage of Lela Wilson and Maxwell Henderson. The material is arranged chronologically.

Records comprise primarily personal correspondence between Wilson and Henderson leading up to and for three years after their 1994 marriage until his death in 1997. Also included are a few letters written in the mid-1970s to both York and Lela Wilson. Other documents include some legal papers, Christmas cards to the couple and, filed at the end of the series, letters of condolence to Lela Wilson from friends and admirers of her late husband. These records are contained in Volum 428 under the Archival Reference number R4154.
