Description:

THE ELEVENTH HOUR follows a crew of television news reporters for the fictional station UTN. In this episode Dennis is trying desperately to get a hold on a story that involves gun manufacturers in the United States and a whistle blower who claims that the company is dumping firearms into the smuggling market. An ice-storm black-out is impeding the final hour of the story as Dennis discovers the female reporter he was involved with in Vancouver was found dead in her hotel room. As Dennis and Isobel try to track down the whistle-blower his existence is questioned, until it is discovered that the reporter's relationship with Dennis may have led her to fabricate the existence of the whistle blower in the first place. It is also discovered that the reporter was a serious heroin addict and died of an overdose. Kamal is concerned about remarks made about him in Frank magazine. <44mn 37s>
